It happened again. Just days after our President, Mark Meckler, spoke out about the extreme level of censorship we’re experiencing, YouTube leveled their “second strike” against Convention of States.
They claim the strike was for “medical misinformation” and removed our video. One more strike, and our entire channel will be deleted for good.
We watched the video in question dozens of times looking for anything that could potentially be misinformation. We fact checked and fact checked.
There’s nothing.
But here’s what’s really scary: YouTube has created a long list of broad topics they’ve deemed as “medical misinformation”. If you even mention some of the words they’ve flagged, it could get you banned.
Here are just a few bullet points from their extensive list:
Claims that hydroxychloroquine saves people from COVID-19
Content that recommends use of Ivermectin or Hydroxychloroquine for the treatment of COVID-19
Content that encourages the use of home remedies, prayer, or rituals in place of medical treatment such as consulting a doctor or going to the hospital
One thing is very clear, YouTube has no problem leveraging censorship to force people to fall in line with their preferred narrative.
So what happens when we get closer to calling a Convention of States and they mobilize to undermine our efforts? What’s to keep them from wiping all COS communications off of their platform? Nothing.
That’s why we’re taking immediate action to move our content to other freedom-loving platforms and ensure that we have fail-safes in place for all of our technology.
This is not a simple task. It will take considerable manpower and investment.
But it’s critical to the viability of our movement that we are always able to freely communicate with you — the American people.
