As a result of the work of my excellent legal team, we shut down LuLaRoe’s illegal pyramid scheme — and 3,600 Washingtonians received checks from my office totaling $4 million.
Holding corporations like LuLaRoe accountable for their unlawful actions is some of the most important work we do.
LuLaRoe preyed on individuals — mostly women — with deceptive promises of empowerment in order to lure them into an illegal pyramid scheme. Its conduct was wrong and illegal.
I have taken more consumer protection cases to trial than all previous attorneys general combined — and I haven’t lost a single one.
