Friend—
The toll that COVID-19 has taken on our teams and patients around the world cannot be overstated.
Every day, we’ve seen this pandemic devastate fragile healthcare systems, with vulnerable communities hit the hardest. Our teams on the ground need your support to keep our programs running for millions of people we provide aid for globally—and we need you now.
After more than a year of our COVID-19 response, most of our pandemic-related activities have been integrated into existing projects. Ensuring COVID-19 doesn’t disrupt essential health services is a constant challenge, especially as we confront multiple humanitarian emergencies at once: uncertainty and upheaval in Afghanistan, catastrophic natural disasters in Haiti, and a nutrition crisis in Madagascar, to name a few.
In the midst of these crises, it is crucial that our teams have the resources they need to provide the lifesaving care our patients rely on.
This email was sent from the U.S. section of Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), an international independent medical humanitarian organization that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural and man-made disasters, and exclusion from health care.
