Dear Listeners,

Constitution Day, September 17, has blessedly made its annual return and it seems more important than ever to take the occasion to reflect on what it means for Americans to be a constitutional people and a free people. The day also marks the second anniversary of The American Story podcast. Every Tuesday, since Constitution Day 2019, we’ve released a new story about what it is that makes America the country we know and love.

In honor of Constitution Day, we hope you will take a few minutes to listen to, “We the People.” For more great short stories—and a new one every week—subscribe to The American Story for free on your preferred podcast platform, or on our website at theamericanstorypodcast.org.

Happy Constitution Day!
