September is well underway which means kids are heading back to school, sports are starting up again. There’s a twinge of normalcy in the air and yet I can’t stop thinking about what’s been unfolding in Texas with the help of the United States Supreme Court.
My opponent, Jesse Young, falls right in line with these dangerous attacks and is working endlessly to restrict reproductive rights.

Since my election we've been working to expand healthcare access by funding family planning programs, extending postpartum medicaid coverage from two months to a whole year, and making sure that college students are covered by the Reproductive Parity Act. And there's more work to be done, like confronting religious hospitals that deny comprehensive care to their patients.
