Dear Friend,

As your representative, I am very concerned about the unemployment rate throughout our district and our borough. According to the New York State Department of Labor, Brooklyn's unemployment rate is presently 10.5%. Considering these kitchen table topic issues, our office has decided to join forces with Congressman Hakeem Jeffries and Congresswoman Nydia Velazquez to host a Brooklyn-wide In-Person Job Fair. The event will be held at Long Island University (LIU) Friday, September 17, 2021, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
