Dear John,

Did you know that the Boundary Waters region is one of the most important regions in the United States for helping maintain biodiversity in the face of the climate crisis?
Recent analysis by two major conservation organizations, The Wilderness Society and The Nature Conservancy, shows the regional ecosystem that the Boundary Waters is part of - Quetico-Superior Ecosystem - which covers about 4.3 million acres of protected boreal forest - has characteristics that make it one of the most important regions in the United States for helping maintain biodiversity in the face of the climate and extinction crisis.

Now is the time to urge decision-makers to make sure the Boundary Waters watershed is permanently protected as part of the climate change solution instead of being destroyed by proposed sulfide-ore copper mining.

Can we count on you to take action today [[link removed]] by sending a quick pre-written email to your elected officials urging them to protect the Boundary Waters?
