It’s painfully apparent that the Montana we love is slipping away. Decades of Republican policies have turned our state into a playground for the rich and powerful.

And while the wealthy get to do whatever they please, it’s us in the middle who have to live with the consequences of the GOP’s “leadership” -- being priced out of the housing market, seeing our state be ravaged by fire and our neighbors targeted by discriminatory and bigoted laws.

I’ll be honest with you, after I lost my race for Montana’s Public Service Commission in 2020, I didn’t think I’d run another campaign. But the threat of Republicans’ destruction is too great to sit on the sidelines. So I’m running for Congress to fight for my fellow Montanans, because I want to create opportunities like I had growing up for everyone, where hard work pays off.

We have a real opportunity now to cut through the lies, dark money, and obstruction that hallmarks our Republican representatives. For the first time in decades, we can send a true voice for rural and everyday Montanans to Washington -- we must meet this moment.

For our state and our country -- our majority and our democracy -- we need to fight like hell to ensure we elect a hardworking Democrat to this new seat.
