Folks,

If the GOP isn't in crisis mode about maintaining control of the U.S. Senate, they should be. Mitch McConnell's favorite cronies -- led by Joni Ernst -- are in deep trouble as we gear up for the 2020 general election.

The stream of terrible press for the Senate GOP is never-ending -- and now the National Journal has weighed in on Iowa's Senate race:

"In Iowa, Sen. Joni Ernst failed even to hit the million-dollar mark in fundraising, a financial baseline of sorts for senators running for reelection. As her fundraising has slowed, Ernst's support back home has also declined."

Look, we know that McConnell and the GOP's elite donors will be fighting tooth and nail to try and save Joni Ernst and their majority in the Senate. It just means we have to fight twice as hard.
