The Left's Assault On Faith

National security issues have dominated the headlines in recent weeks. The southern border gets worse every day. (See below.) The left's push toward socialism is accelerating.

But I just want to take a moment to remind you of what has been done over the last eight months to attack and undermine the Judeo-Christian foundation of America.
* Biden embraced the lie that life doesn't begin at conception ([link removed]) .
* Biden forced U.S. taxpayers to pay for abortions overseas ([link removed]) .
* Biden restored taxpayer funds to Planned Parenthood ([link removed]) .
* Biden is forcing schools to embrace gender confusion ([link removed]) , contrary to biological science.
* Biden is trying to force doctors ([link removed]) to perform transgender surgeries.
* Biden issued an Easter proclamation that didn't mention Jesus ([link removed]) .
* Biden is appointing left-wing judges who are committed to abortion ([link removed]) and restricting religious liberty.
* Biden reversed Trump policies ([link removed]) that prioritized persecuted Christians in the Middle East. Just like the Obama years, we once again are bringing in hundreds of thousands of Muslims from the Middle East with no vetting to determine whether they harbor anti-Christian, anti-Semitic and anti-Western attitudes.


I could go on, but you get the point.

Men and women of faith cannot be silent bystanders in the culture war. The left has become increasingly hostile and intolerant of faith. It's not enough for these radicals that we tolerate "alternative lifestyles."

Now you MUST participate in their wedding. You MUST applaud their identity and choice of pronouns. You MUST close your church when left-wing politicians proclaim there is an emergency.

ENOUGH!

Biden's Border Crisis

Last month, Border Patrol agents apprehended nearly 209,000 illegal aliens ([link removed]) at the southern border. But they weren't just caught and sent back. Most were bused ([link removed]) and flown ([link removed]) into communities all over America.

It also means August was the second month in a row when more than 200,000 illegal immigrants crossed our border. More than 8,000 migrants are being held under a bridge ([link removed]) in Texas because we have nowhere to put them.

This is a problem entirely of Joe Biden's making. The August 2021 figures are 317% higher than August of 2020 and 233% higher than August of 2019. The only thing that changed from 2019 and 2020 to now is who occupies the Oval Office.

Joe Biden promised a massive amnesty if he won, and the whole world took notice ([link removed]) . More than 61,000 illegal immigrants caught at the border last month are "OTMs" – "other than Mexicans." More than 750 Russians were caught at the southern border in August, along with 251 Turks and 374 Indians.

This is insane! Hundreds of thousands of people crossing our border is a huge national security risk.

Meanwhile, Democrats in Congress aren't doing anything to help. They're actually making it worse by trying to jam a massive amnesty ([link removed]) into their obscene $3.5 trillion spending bill.

Believe it or not, they're trying to justify this radical change to immigration policy in a budget bill that they intend to pass on a straight party-line vote by claiming their amnesty will cost taxpayers $105 billion.

That should be a reason NOT to do it! But that's left-wing logic for you.

By the way, the Democrat amnesty will include illegal alien gang members, convicted sex offenders and drunk drivers. How do I know that? Because Democrats voted to include them ([link removed]) . How's that for left-wing logic?!

I know there are a lot of things congressional Republicans are trying to fight right now. And I know the liberal media aren't giving them half the coverage they deserve. But somehow they have got to grab headlines and make news to expose this outrageous crisis on our southern border.

Polling shows that the vast majority of Americans are grossly unaware ([link removed]) about the true extent of the crisis.



Speaking Of Polls. . .

Two new polls show that Joe Biden's approval ratings continues to plummet.

Quinnipiac University ([link removed]) released the results of its latest survey earlier this week, and Biden has fallen to a new low in its polling – 42%. That figure represents a swing of 11-points against Biden since early August.

Worse, Quinnipiac found Biden's ratings were upside on every major issue. For example:
* Biden's handling of the Afghanistan withdrawal – 31% approve; 65% disapprove.
* Biden's handling of the economy – 42% approve; 52% disapprove.
* Biden's handling of foreign policy – 34% approve; 59% disapprove.
* Biden's handling of the coronavirus – 48% approve; 49% disapprove.

Asked about their satisfaction with the direction of the country, 69% of Americans are dissatisfied and just 29% are satisfied.

A Monmouth University ([link removed]) poll released today isn't much better. While they measured Biden's approval rating at 46%, it's down eight points since January, while his disapproval rating shot up 16 points since then, for a swing of 24-points against Biden since he took office.

The Monmouth poll also found that just 29% of Americans felt the country was on the right track.



About Those Calls. . .

As you know, President Trump was impeached over a phone call in which he asked the leader of Ukraine to find out the truth about alleged corruption. Joe Biden called the former president of Afghanistan and urged him to lie ([link removed]) about the national security situation there, and we got crickets from the media.

General Michael Flynn called the Russian ambassador during the transition period to discuss issues relevant to his role as the incoming national security adviser. Flynn was destroyed by the media and the left.

General Milley called a Chinese general during the election and offered to give him a heads up ([link removed]) on our military actions. The left-wing media are applauding Milley.

So far, the source of the Milley reports is famed Watergate journalist Bob Woodward. But I think the American people deserve to see the transcripts of his call. (Exactly how did Woodward get his hands on the transcript?)

The Pentagon insists it was all above board. Fine. Then release the transcript and let the American people decide.

By the way, there's something else in Bob Woodward's new book, but you're probably not going to hear much about it on the evening news. According to Woodward, Biden lied ([link removed]) when he said the decision to withdraw from Afghanistan was "unanimous."

Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and Secretary of State Blinken objected to Biden's withdrawal plan, but he overruled them. In a press conference ([link removed]) last month, Pentagon leaders made it clear that they were ordered to abandon Bagram Air Force Base and protect the embassy, which was relocated to the Kabul airport.

In short, Biden gave the military an impossible task and then said everyone agreed to it. Milley and other top commanders should have resigned then.

But there is a long and growing list of reasons for Milley to resign. He needs to go now. He must understand that at least half the country no longer trusts him for undermining President Trump and then betraying our troops on the ground in Kabul to Joe Biden's incompetence.



What's In A Name?

Last night, President Biden announced a new defense agreement between the United States, Great Britain and Australia that is clearly aimed at countering communist China's influence in the Pacific. So far, so good.

But after thanking British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Biden evidently couldn't remember ([link removed]) the name of Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison, whom he referred to as "that fella down under." Not so good.

This may be the first time in modern history that a world leader trying to form an alliance against an enemy couldn't remember the name of one of his key allies!
