If you haven’t heard by now, Fmr. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo endorsed my campaign for Congress!
As exciting as this endorsement is, I wish we still had his leadership in charge of our state department.
What transpired in Afghanistan over the last few weeks would have never happened under his watch.
He wouldn’t have abandoned Americans.
He wouldn’t have handed over American weapons to the Taliban.
He would have done everything in his power to get every American out of there.
That’s because Fmr. Secretary Pompeo is a real leader who leads by example and puts it all on the line for the American people.
We need real leaders in control again in Washington.
That’s the kind of leader I fight to be every day in Congress, one that is always aspiring to earn and keep your respect.
