Republican AGs are suing to stop lifesaving vaccine regulations.
Friend,
In the middle of another surge in Covid-19 cases, Democratic Attorneys General are fighting to protect our communities.
Meanwhile, 27 Republican AGs and governors are stoking the flames of a culture war by threatening to take action against the Biden administration over commonsense vaccine and testing requirements that will save lives. In fact, one Republican AG just followed through and sued the Biden administration over this science-backed rule.
Republican AGs are rushing straight to politics. Missouri’s AG Eric Schmitt called the mandate a “slow march to socialism and authoritarian rule.” In Arizona, AG Mark Brnovich compared President Biden to King George when talking about the pro-science regulations.
Make no mistake, these Republican AGs are more concerned about their own political future than they are about protecting the people they were elected to serve.
For decades, Americans have gotten vaccines to travel, attend school, and even to serve in the military. Vaccines are safe, and requiring them to protect our families and communities is nothing new.
What is new, is the faux outrage that Republican AGs are leveraging to try to fire up their base. Team, we’re in a situation where one political party in America won’t even acknowledge reality. Republican AGs claim to represent freedom and American liberty, but all they really care about is protecting their political futures.
We can target vulnerable Republican AGs in 2022, and flip these seats back to Democrats who believe in science and vaccination.
Democratic AGs truly are “The People’s Lawyers” and DAGA is the only party committee devoted to electing more of them. Since 2016, we’ve won two-thirds of our targeted races, and with more than 30 AG seats up for grabs in the next two years, we need your support – will you chip in today?
