John,
While it may seem like a quiet
election compared with last year’s, the results of this November 5th
election will have a significant impact on the direction of our city.
My full list of recommendations is below, but here are three critical
races to highlight:
-
Supervisor Vallie Brown is a strong, community-based ally who I
need on the Board of Supervisors, working with me to create more
housing and concrete solutions to our homeless crisis.
-
District Attorney Suzy
Loftus is already working
hard to ensure a safer San Francisco by holding those who commit
crimes accountable and ensuring justice for all communities in every
neighborhood of our city.
-
Proposition A provides funding for desperately needed
affordable housing for teachers, veterans, seniors, low- and
middle-income families struggling to stay in the city they
love.
Here is my full list of
recommendations and voting information. I hope you will take this to
the polls or reference it while filing out your absentee
ballot.
