Earlier today, Cambridge node volunteer Fred Hewett wrote in WBUR Cognoscenti, "[Oil companies are] doing all they can to sustain their high-profit status quo, and protecting the climate is an afterthought, at best."

It's no surprise that the fossil fuel's industry's bottom line is protecting their profits, especially since they spent the better part of three decades spreading misinformation and climate denial.

That's why it's more important than ever to build a movement that puts people and planet over profit. See below for opportunities to take action to fight for a better future for all of us.

Sign the No Compressor Pledge and Contact TRC: Despite five years of intense local advocacy, construction of the proposed Weymouth Compressor Station appears imminent. Fore River Residents Against the Compressor Station is gauging the resolve of allies to further resist this project by asking for action pledges.
