"Pa. Republicans vote to subpoena voter records and personal information in 2020 election probe"
—The Philadelphia Inquirer, 9/15/21
Breaking news, John—
Yesterday — on International Day of Democracy, no less — Pennsylvania Republicans took an unprecedented step to perpetuate Trump’s big lie and attack the results of the 2020 elections — by subpoenaing Pennsylvanians’ personal records.
They’re so desperate to cater to Donald Trump that instead of focusing on helping Pennsylvanians, they’re attacking the integrity of our elections. Not only that, but they’re doing so by requesting sensitive, personal information like the last four digits of voters’ social security numbers without a plan to keep it secure.
Time after time now, Republicans’ unfounded accusations of fraud in the 2020 elections have been proven baseless. Voters sent President Biden to the White House fair and square. It’s long past time for the GOP to accept the results and do their jobs.
This kind of partisan extremism has no place in our government, John. We need elected officials who will work for Pennsylvanians — not waste taxpayer dollars attempting to overturn the results of an election that happened ten months ago.
Val is ready to champion Pennsylvania in the U.S. Senate. Will you chip in $5 right now to help her get there and hold Republicans accountable?
