Last Thursday night, September 9, FAMM celebrated 30 years of working to reform our nation's justice system. I hope you were able to join us! If not, I can tell you it was a memorable evening as we celebrated with hundreds of families and activists who helped us achieve major victories over the past three decades.

I am proud of all that we have accomplished over the past three decades, but I know we have a long way to go. Too many families are torn apart by extreme and counterproductive prison sentences. Working together, I know we can secure second chances for more people.
