Arizona Ranks 4th in States Bringing Back Jobs Analysis
Arizona ranks the fourth state in the country to bring back the greatest number of jobs in economic recovery, according to a report recently released by the Republican National Committee based on Bureau of Labor Statistics data.
The study also shows that COVID-related job losses in Arizona amounted to 331,500. Through July of this year, 310,600 jobs were recovered for a recovery rate of 93.7 percent. Utah, Idaho, and Montana – all Republican governed states -- preceded Arizona in the ranking with 129 percent, 121.9 percent, and 94.2 percent, respectively.
Out of the top 20 states with the lowest unemployment rates, 16 are led by Republican governors with Republican-controlled legislatures, while the 10 states with the highest unemployment rates are all led by Democrat governors. Clearly, Republican-led states are blazing the way to economic recovery.
While 25 Republican-led states announced they would stop paying Americans not to work, 63 percent of small businesses are trying to hire, yet 89 percent of that group said there were very few job applicants who applied.
However, the upbeat news about employment recovery is overshadowed by Joe Biden’s disastrous inflationary economic policies that are responsible for Americans paying more for everyday family/household purchases. Rising prices are responsible for paychecks actually shrinking after factoring in inflation.
