Governor Announces DXC Technology
To Expand in Conway, Create 1,200 Jobs

LITTLE ROCK – DXC Technology, a global IT company with offices in Conway, will expand its operation and create 1,200 jobs over the next three years, Governor Asa Hutchinson announced today at a ceremony at the DXC Technology facility in Conway.

This will increase the DXC Technology payroll in Conway to 1,600.

“This is a big day for Conway,” Governor Hutchinson said after the formal announcement. “This expansion demonstrates DXC Technology’s confidence in our workforce training, including our computer science education and the future of our technology enabled work environment.”

Secretary of Commerce Mike Preston joined Governor Hutchinson, DXC Technology Vice President Andrea Fiumicelli, and local officials for the announcement.

“We’re proud to see DXC Technology expand its Conway facility,” Secretary Preston said. “With a rich presence in our state, this investment in the company will improve the lives of many Central Arkansas families who have an opportunity at great paying high-tech jobs.”

Since the Governor took office in January 2015, the Arkansas Economic Development Commission has signed incentive agreements for more than 400 projects, which have led to the creation of nearly 17,000 jobs. The agreements have produced nearly $9 billion in investment in Arkansas.

DXC Technology works with 6,000 private and public-sector clients in 70 countries. DXC Technology was created through the merger of Computer Sciences Corporation and Hewlett Packard Enterprise Services.
