John,

In a few paragraphs, we’re going to ask you to make a donation to Lucy McBath’s 2022 re-election campaign. But first, we want to give you three good reasons why:

• Our end-of-quarter FEC deadline is rapidly approaching on September 30th. This is our first FEC deadline with major Republican opponents in the race. After the numbers go public, we’ll see what both sides have raised, and we really need to come out on top.


• This is our chance to demonstrate how strong our movement is before Republicans make their final redistricting decisions in Georgia during Q4 2021. We have to prove that Team Lucy is stronger than ever, and that comes down to how we perform this quarter. We're at risk of a completely re-drawn district packed with new, conservative voters.


• Former (thank goodness) President Trump is holding one of his mega-rallies here at the end of next week, and we’re worried that might suck all the oxygen right out of our end-of-quarter fundraising push.

With Lucy headed back to Congress to pass the Infrastructure bill and fight to codify Roe v Wade into law, she has much more important things to worry about than campaign fundraising.

So, that’s why we’re asking, John. We need to count on grassroots support from 150 more supporters in DC donating to emails like this to help us hit our upcoming end-of-quarter goal.
