Team,

Today New Hampshire's Executive Council voted to defund reproductive health providers like Planned Parenthood from New Hampshire's Family Planning Program. This decision will have devastating impacts on people in New Hampshire who need access to critical family planning services, STI testing and treatment, and breast cancer screenings.

When I served on the Executive Council, preserving funding for reproductive health providers was one of my top priorities. It's outrageous that our councilors would put their own extreme political beliefs ahead of what's best for the health of thousands of Granite Staters who depend on these services.

Right now we're seeing a dangerous trend across the country as state legislatures pass egregious bills rolling back reproductive rights. And earlier this month one of the most extreme abortion bans in the country went into effect in Texas after the Supreme Court ignored precedent and failed to take action to block it.

I stand with those who are fighting for access to reproductive health care, and I will continue to stand up against politicians who are willing to play games with access to critical health services like birth control, cancer screenings, and annual exams. Add your name if you're with me in the fight to protect reproductive rights for all Granite Staters.

In solidarity,

Chris Pappas
