Details about the huge amnesty to be included in the budget reconciliation bill are out, after being passed by the House Judiciary Committee. It's every bit as bad as we feared, including amnesty for most of the illegal aliens in the U.S.

Practically nothing keeps any illegal alien from automatically qualifying! Welfare dependency, drug addiction, previous deportations, failure to show up for immigration proceedings, even communicable diseases like coronavirus... it's all permitted!

Each one of these recipients will receive on average $129,000 more from Social Security and Medicare than they and their employers will pay (according to a Center for Immigration Studies analysis.) The lifetime cost of approving 8 million people?

ONE TRILLION DOLLARS!!!

And you and your children are going to have to pay for it! That's more than $3,000 from every man, woman and child living in America today. And that's only the cost to Medicare and Social Security; that does not even count the cost of additional infrastructure, education, or other government programs. It also doesn't include the effect of lower wages or the cost of providing government aid to displaced workers.

Keep in mind, this bill does NOTHING to prevent future illegal immigration and future amnesties. No E-Verify. No increased border enforcement. No added Border Patrol officers.

John, the good news is that we've met our match goal of $150,000 to fight against this amnesty. That's because you've inspired our major donors to increase their "seed donations" from the $75,000 they started to $100,000. So I can now announce that our Match Campaign goal is $200,000!

Imagine, at least EIGHT MILLION more legal workers, most of whom will become eligible for citizenship and all its benefits, including social services. And each of those eight million will be able to start their own chains of unending family migration.

Let me be clear, John, our greatest concern has always been about the sheer numbers of mass immigration. We're for lower numbers of immigrants, period. But our opponents are so determined to raise the numbers that even those who don't immediately qualify for amnesty can apply for waivers, including people who currently are subject to immediate deportation for:

• Human trafficking. They don't mean the people who are being trafficked. The traffickers themselves can apply for waivers... even after they've been arrested and convicted.
• Gang activities. The very people making Latin America so dangerous that we supposedly should allow mass migration from those countries are being permitted to apply for waivers themselves!
• Violent crimes and sex offenses.
• Voter fraud.

I'm not talking about people who could conceivably fall through the cracks in the system, John. These are groups of people who the bill specifically authorizes the Department of Homeland Security to grant waivers to allow them to apply for amnesty!

John, please consider the many ways this amnesty will harm America. Please also consider the financial cost of this bill. The cost is the Social Security and Medicare the U.S. government will pay each of those amnestied OVER AND ABOVE the payroll taxes the people pay in!!

When you think of all these harms and costs, how much would you give to stop this? If you can give, I'm asking you to look to the future, and decide what you believe is best for America, your own well-being, and the well-being of those you love. And ask yourself: just how much is it worth to you to stop this immigration bill.
