Greetings fellow American,
This October, we will release our newest free online course, “The David Story: Shepherd, Father, King,” and I’d like to share an exclusive video from it for supporters like you, who have helped make our courses possible.
You can watch the video we’ve prepared for you and pre-register for the new course below.

The story of David is not only fundamentally important to the Christian and Jewish faiths but also a literary masterpiece. And while many people are familiar with David as the shepherd boy who slew the giant, they likely don’t know the tragic turn his life takes as king.
At its heart, “The David Story” is about fathers and sons. It explores David’s character and the consequences of his choices on his family and the people of Israel. By taking this course, you’ll learn more about the nature of God, family, leadership, sin, and repentance…in short, you’ll learn more about what truly matters in life.
You can watch your exclusive video at the secure link below.

In the clip, you’ll meet Justin Jackson, your guide through the biblical story of David.
Dr. Jackson serves as a professor of English at Hillsdale College and teaches a course on the Old Testament every year to our undergraduates. He also teaches our popular free online course on the Book of Genesis.
After watching the video, I hope you will pre-register to take the full, free course. We’ve limited pre-registration to the first 20,000 students, so don’t delay.
And, after you pre-register for this important new course, will you also consider giving a special tax-deductible gift?
Your generous gift will help us reach our $200,000 funding goal to promote the course and our other educational efforts.
We must get this new course in front of as many people and families as possible, making your giving vital. Here’s one other reason why your support matters…
As you may know, Hillsdale College refuses EVERY PENNY of government funding—even indirectly in the form of federal or state student loans and grants. That means that your gift matters even more.
Let’s introduce thousands of more people to the profound beauty of the Bible. Let’s confront the enormous questions that humans have struggled with from the beginning. And let’s learn about what truly matters in life by studying “The David Story.”
Best regards,
