Hi John,

Welcome back to school! We hope that this new school year is providing you, your student, and your community an opportunity to do things differently, make change, and grow. Please know that we are here to provide any support this upcoming school year.

This upcoming school year, GLSEN’s work to create safe, affirming, and inclusive schools for LGBTQ+ youth continues to be critical as we all return to the classroom. We also continue to encourage you and your community to continue to wear your mask, in-and-out of the classroom and practice social distancing. If you're able to do so, please get the COVID-19 vaccine.

Join us for the Premiere of Everybody's Talking About Jamie

Inspired by true events, Everybody's Talking About Jamie is the film adaptation of the award-winning hit musical from London’s West End, about Jamie New (newcomer Max Harwood), a teenager in a blue-collar English town with a dream of life on stage. While his classmates plan their livelihoods after graduation, Jamie contemplates revealing his secret career ambition as a fierce and proud drag queen. In rousing and colorful musical numbers, Jamie and his community inspire one another to be more accepting, and to see the value in facing adversity stepping out of the darkness into the spotlight.

GLSEN will be making way for Jamie, and will be joining the Twitter Watch Party on Friday, September 17, 2021 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT!
