The most recent legislature has been a disaster under the GOP’s leadership:
FIRST: They passed one of the first voter suppression bills in the country which was subsequently signed by Governor Gianforte without producing an ounce of evidence supporting claims of voter fraud. Not to mention that this bill opened the floodgates for voter suppression across the country.
THEN: Governor Gianforte became one of the first Governors in the nation to withdraw from the federal COVID unemployment program.
NOW: Montana is awash in COVID-19 cases and both the Legislature and Gianforte continue to play politics as our people get sick and die.
