One of the things that I really love about the undocumented community is the self reliance of the community. With the need for practitioners who understand mental health issues for the undocumented community, more and more undocumented young people are considering a career in mental health.

At Immigrants Rising, we provide resources and support so that undocumented young people are empowered to pursue their educational and career goals, and build a brighter future for themselves and their community.

That’s why we’re excited to announce Immigrants Rising’s Mental Health Career Program! ([link removed])

This program supports the professional development of aspiring undocumented mental health professionals who need to accumulate hours towards their licensure in California. We’re excited to announce that participants in our Mental Health Career Program will receive $8,000 in stipend, one-on-one mentorship from licensed clinical therapists, and most importantly, the hours required for licensure.
