Hurricane Dorian left families in the Bahamas completely devastated. And instead of helping communities throughout the Caribbean, Trump and his administration have refused to grant Bahamian refugees Temporary Protected Status (TPS).

This is another attempt by this administration to keep brown and black people out of the United States -- and we have to stand up to this president’s xenophobia and racism.

Allowing TPS for the individuals impacted by Hurricane Dorian is the right thing to do. That’s why we’re collecting signatures to demand Congress take action immediately.

Our progressive leaders in the House introduced a bill that would grant that Bahamian climate refugees TPS, but it’s waiting on a vote.

We need to send a message to Congress and the White House that we cannot turn our backs on people who need our help. Sign your name now to demand Congress call a vote to allow TPS for these refugees.
