If it's Tuesday, it's Election Day somewhere!

We hope you had a safe and enjoyable summer! We often say there's no such thing as an off-year when it comes to voting. As autumn begins, so does another election season. More specifically, there's a special election for Georgia's Clayton County Commissioner for District 1 on Tuesday, 9/21! 

We're proud to endorse Alaina Reaves for this seat. Alaina's career in government and the nonprofit sector includes time as Georgia State Director at our affiliated 501(c)(3) organization, Spread The Vote. Alaina's work experience informs her understanding of the importance of having an ID, the barriers that prevent people from getting an ID, and how to overcome them.

If elected County Commissioner, Alaina vows to work with the Clayton County Board of Elections & Registration to advertise and administer more voter IDs to Clayton County voters. She also pledges to work with the Clayton County legislative delegation to move a bill that would provide state-issued identification cards to all Georgia residents.
