Today, the next round of Child Tax Credit payments will go out to families in Ohio and across the country.

I can’t stress enough how transformative the expanded Child Tax Credit has been for working families. It’s the biggest tax cut for working families ever and it benefits 90% of American children -- that’s roughly 39 million American families.

While every single Republican voted against the American Rescue Plan and the expanded Child Tax Credit, it was people like my friend and colleague, Georgia Senator Raphael Warnock, who fought to get it over the finish line for 1.2 million Georgia families.

I’m working with Senator Warnock to extend the monthly CTC payments beyond the end of the year, but with the next FEC filing deadline coming up at the end of the month, he’s in need of grassroots support to help reach his fundraising goal.
