The Seven Principles of Evolutionary Enlightenment
A two hour online teaching
with Andrew Cohen

In the last two teachings, we touched on the miracle of Intersubjective Nonduality, and discussed the different definitions of ego. We’ve discovered how it’s possible to come together beyond ego, and how enlightened awareness can transcend the boundaries of subjective interiority.
In coming together beyond ego, we gain direct access to the ascending drive of the Evolutionary Impulse. We realise that in this new evolutionary context, the ultimate goal of enlightenment is not personal attainment but a collective co-creative emergence.
From an evolutionary perspective, the only reason that we endeavor to live an enlightened life is so that we can become a vehicle for this new emergent consciousness – and specifically for its miraculous potential to give rise to a new culture beyond ego.
When the higher dimensions of intersubjective nonduality begin to manifest spontaneously, the collective intelligence that begins to express itself through us is capable of giving rise to this new cultural potential. Catalyzing such an emergence is the ultimate goal of Evolutionary Enlightenment.
The qualities of this collective intelligence can be simply expressed as seven fundamental principles. They can be thought of as catalysts for emergence, and simultaneously as the defining characteristics of intersubjective consciousness as it takes root and flourishes in the world.
The Seven Principles can be simply broken down in this way:
Purity of Motive & Integrity in Action
Autonomy, Communion & Natural Hierarchy
Evolutionary Tension & Creative Friction
In his next monthly online teaching, Andrew will give an in-depth introduction to the Seven Principles. We will learn how these principles can create the extraordinary potential for the Evolutionary Impulse to arise spontaneously in and through us – individually and collectively – in such a way that it can literally catalyze emergence.
