Starting Tuesday, September 21 at 6pm ET, Swing Left’s Immediate Impact Team is hosting [weekly phone banks to call Virginia voters]([link removed]) and encourage them to vote in the elections this November. The gubernatorial race and several key House of Delegates races are incredibly close, so increasing voter turnout is critical in order to protect Virginia’s Democratic trifecta. The Immediate Impact Team is designed to give volunteers from anywhere in the country a path to get involved in the elections that determine the balance of power in our country. You don’t have to be part of the team to join a phone bank, but [joining can help you stay connected to high-priority, virtual campaign volunteer opportunities]([link removed])—including phone banks, letter writing, and relational organizing—and will help you connect to other organizers to share tips, training, and best practices.
