John — If you voted in the California recall election, thank you for showing up and fighting to keep our state blue.

Hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars were spent in this election — an election that started as Republicans' cheap attempt to drain Democrats' financial resources. And I’ll be honest, they were partially successful.

But you showed up and showed the strength of the Democratic party. And for that, John, I want to say thank you. Gov. Newsom will remain in office and finish out his term, but more importantly, we can all breathe a sigh of relief that progress will continue here in our home state.

This election, along with several others across the country happening this year, are the first signs of what’s to come in 2022 and 2024.

Now that Republicans have seen us go to bat for our party and our values, they’re going to come back harder and stronger than ever. That’s why even though the midterms are a little over a year away, our work has to start now.

If you’re with me in the fight to hold our Democratic majorities in the House and Senate, will you chip in to my campaign today? I’ve included my personal ActBlue link below:

This recall election drained a lot of CA Democrats' resources — including my own. If you’re with us in the fight for progress, will you make a donation to help us ramp up our efforts right now?

Thanks for your support,
— Eric
