At midnight tonight, we’re closing the books on a mid-month fundraising deadline that our team has set for ourselves. And this morning, we have some good news and some bad news to share with you.

The good news is: We can hit our contribution goal if we have a big day today. As of this morning, we’re 168 short. That’s not a small amount, but it’s not out of the question, either.

The bad news is: Our average contribution has been dropping. This time last year, it was $24.57. In August, $22.03. And so far this month, we’re under $18.

Now, this is a good problem to have, but it’s not without its challenges.

What that number means is that working people all across the country stand with Ed and the strength of our progressive agenda.

It means we have true grassroots power behind our movement.

But it also means we need to pick up the pace to have the resources to fight back against our opponents. And it means we have to ask:

Can you make a $3 contribution before midnight tonight? We have a big FEC fundraising deadline in a few short weeks and rely on grassroots support to keep on track. [[link removed]]

We know not everyone can chip in every time we ask, but if you’re able to, we hope you’ll consider making a contribution before tonight’s deadline.
