The California Recall failed to remove Governor Newsom for two reasons: the far-left poured about $75 million into defending Newsom and pro-Recall forces couldn’t come close to matching that.  Secondly, liberal Californians are entrenched.  Despite all that is wrong in the nation’s largest state, ideology trumps problem-solving.In my lifetime, I don’t see California ever coming back to political reality.  The poor are dependent on government entitlements, the affluent despise traditional America.  I am speaking generally, of course.
