It’s the job of every public servant to put aside their personal views for the sake of the common good. In times of crisis like this, it’s crucial that as elected officials, we model reliable, common-sense health measures to keep our communities as safe as possible.
Governor DeSantis can’t even fulfill the most basic responsibilities of public service and that’s never been more evident than Monday's press conference. There he allowed debunked lies and conspiracy theories about the vaccine and masks to be peddled at a taxpayer funded event. Not to mention his campaign continues to sell anti-mask and anti-Fauci merchandise as thousands of Floridians remain Hospitalized with Covid-19.
