Hello:

We are reaching out to you because we are launching a 2.0 edition of our highly celebrated Gender Data 101 course this October. As we prepare to open applications for a new cohort to enroll, we wanted to give you priority access ([link removed]) to apply before our social media campaign launches later this week.

The first edition of Gender Data 101 was a five-week blended course that featured live streamed events and engaging course material centered around an applicable case study: Gender Data and COVID-19. The course primarily focused on the gender data lifecycle and emphasized how to examine biases and effectively impact organizations with gender data.
[link removed] new edition of Gender Data 101 will follow a similar format (blended, 5 weeks, and free) and will build upon the previous learning objectives. In the new course, learners will:

• Define best practices needed for gender data at all stages of the data life cycle: collection, processing, analysis, visualization, uptake, and impact.

• Identify the multiple forms of systemic discrimination that affect the overall efficacy of gender data.
• Evaluate the limitations of the gender binary and how it may affect the phases of the gender data lifecycle.

• Create action-oriented strategies and an intersectional approach to combat gender data inequities and biases.

If this sounds interesting we encourage you to apply now ([link removed]) , as spots are limited. Applications to enroll close on October 1 and we will notify enrolled participants on October 4 prior to the course launch on October 12.

Also, feel free to forward this to any friends or colleagues who might benefit.

We hope you will join us on this incredible journey to build skills in data and gender.

Sincerely,

Nick
