NBC NEWS: California Recall Effort Fails

NBC NEWS reports that California voters just rejected the Republican attempt to recall the Democratic governor and replace him with a Trump-style Republican.

John, this election was WAY too close for comfort. We sent emails with messages from Kerry Washington, Sarah Silverman, and others turning out the vote as did so many others. And California voters responded.

What just happened in California serves as a reminder that we cannot take our victories for granted. Incumbents like Sen. Raphael Warnock (GA), Rep. Katie Porter (CA-45), Rep. Mike Levin (CA-49), and Rep. Andy Levin (MI-9) could lose their seats and put control of Congress at risk.

We helped all of them get elected. Potential competitors will look at early fundraising to decide whether to run against them. Can you donate today?
