We've now hearing some very concerning statements from Sen. Angus King - whose previous opposition helped sink David Chipman.
Indeed, the White House must really have put the squeeze on King, because he was recently quoted as saying:
"I hope (the next nominee) is an ATF professional ... and I would be delighted, and I would be very much (for it)."
In other words, as long as Pres. Biden nominates the right kind of career bureaucrat, King is likely to be supportive of him.
It already took legendary efforts by your FPC Team to convince key Senators to torpedo Chipman's confirmation.
And these kinds of statements from Washington could make the next battle over the ATF Director role even harder.
That's why it's absolutely critical that we use the time we have right now before Biden's next nomination to achieve full readiness.
As we speak, Biden's handlers are no doubt combing through piles of potential nominees who they feel could pass muster...
Someone just as authoritarian, but with less of a history making inflammatory statements and working with the gun control lobby.
And we need to be ready to defeat that person, because the ATF needs to be ABOLISHED, not given another tyrannical leader.
But Friend, we need your support TODAY in order to make sure this corrupt position remains vacant.
That's why we're asking you to make your most generous donation of $100, $50 or perhaps even $25.
If you want to keep your guns, then you need to help give our advocates the resources they need today.
In case you missed our updates yesterday, FPC has been suffering a massive revenue decline ever since Chipman was defeated.
It seems some gun owners may have declared victory prematurely and think there's no more reason to give.
But that couldn't be further from the truth. Indeed, failure to throw your support behind liberty now could mean DEFEAT just down the road.
So donate NOW to help FPC make sure Pres. Biden's anti-gun agenda stays on ice where it belongs!
