Today Californians will decide whether Governor Gavin Newsom will be recalled. If so, Larry Elder will likely be his replacement – a man who spreads anti-vax conspiracies, denies climate science, and is against any kind of minimum wage.

But let me unpack something, ok? Then I need to make an important request.

Right now, I am seeing a distressing pattern growing across the country – and this stupid Newsom recall is just one example.

Several of our elected District Attorneys – who’ve been changing the game on decarceration, police accountability, and real public safety solutions – are facing similarly dangerous recall campaigns.

This backlash against our movement – in the form of recall campaigns funded by conservative billionaires and police unions – could be the new normal.

Real Justice PAC has now helped elect 18 amazing District Attorneys who are doing the difficult work of changing the justice system from the inside out.

We have fought hard to get this far, and we CAN’T go back.
