John, institutions like law school were not built for people on the margins.
That’s why I am excited to share our Law School Resource Guide for Undocumented Students.
When I was applying for law school years ago as a DACA recipient, I had to figure out so many things for myself. Should I talk about my immigration story in my personal statement? How do loans and financial aid work for undocumented students? Answering these questions was yet another gauntlet that I had to pass through to get to where I am today.
Immigrants Rising seeks to open doors for the next generation of undocumented immigrants to become advocates for our own communities. This resource compiles the experiences and wisdom of the undocumented young people who have gone through the law school process and makes it available for those seeking to pursue a legal career. As we continue to break through barriers, we’re committed to making sure that we pave the way for those who come after us, just as those who came before us.
Check out and share our Law School Resource Guide for Undocumented Students today!

Denia
