Friend, the Democratic majority in Congress is our last line of defense against the GOP's efforts to strip away reproductive freedom.

The Supreme Court -- dominated by conservatives -- allowed Texas's near-ban on all abortions to go into effect. And they're hearing a case this fall that could fully reverse all that remains of Roe v. Wade.

Congressional Democrats are preparing to vote on legislation to federally protect the right to choose (meaning that state laws like the one in Texas could be overridden). But our majorities are razor-thin -- and if the GOP gains just five seats next year, they'll control the House.

Protecting the right to choose from the current and future attempts by the right to roll it back means fighting hard for every potentially competitive House seat, and that's why Jennifer needs your help. We're coming up on our next end-of-quarter deadline on September 30, and we need to meet our mid-month goal in order to be on pace for a strong finish when our numbers are publicly released.
