The good news is that there’s still a bit of time before our official FEC fundraising deadline comes to a close and we’re legally required to report our fundraising numbers.

The bad news is that we have started out this month very slowly in terms of individual donations.

Let us put this information in context.

From September 1, 2019 to September 13, 2019 we had more than 15,000 individual donations.

From September 1, 2021 to September 13, 2021 we have just over 10,000 donations. Not great.

We have to close this gap. And it’s why we launched an Emergency Mid-Month Fundraising Drive. But time is running out:

These numbers are not arbitrary. If we fall behind and our numbers go public, everyone will see and the outside spending will only increase.
