Manchester, NH - Victoria Sullivan issued the following statement on the announcement of an upcoming United States Attorney press conference regarding the huge violent crime problem in Manchester:
“For over two years, I have been calling out Mayor Joyce Craig for ignoring spiking violent crime in our city, but all we have heard from the Corner Office are carefully massaged statistics, claiming that all is well in Manchester for her own political gain. This press conference simply proves that we, the citizens of Manchester, have been right all along in our concerns about Craig’s chaos and the unacceptable state of our city.
"I commend the brave men and women of the Manchester Police Department and the Attorney General’s Office for this indictment, but let me be clear — they need a willing partner at One City Hall Plaza. I plan to be there come January, ready to work alongside them, helping to lead the change that our city desperately needs.”
