Emerge women are fighting for policies that make schools healthy, safe, and supportive for ALL children – no matter what zip code they live in. That’s a difficult job under “normal” circumstances. But right now, that fight is even harder.

Extremist Republicans are stoking paranoia about mask mandates and so-called “woke-ism” in school curriculums. And misguided parents are pouring into school board meetings and lashing out against dedicated school leaders.

Emerge women are up to the challenge of transforming our schools for the better. But in the face of long hours, poor funding, and harassment, they need our support now more than ever.
