Every day that we don’t act to stop climate change, expand Medicare, and invest in education and housing, the more our people and our planet will suffer.
Some people in Washington D.C. want to make excuses. Democrats who want to label themselves as “moderates” block long-overdue relief to the working people of this country. Blocking action on climate change, health care, and universal childcare is simply not moderate.
And this is urgent. Every day that we don’t act to stop climate change, expand Medicare, and invest in education and housing, the more our people and our planet will suffer.
My team let me know that our progressive fight ahead really needs some additional grassroots support before we hit the middle of the month (11:59 pm tomorrow night). We’re looking to bring in 250 small-dollar donations before the mid-month deadline — can you chip in $3 for our urgent, progressive fight?

The status quo isn’t working for most of us. While the biggest corporations in America unleash a lobbying blitz to try to stop a corporate tax increase, I’m in the halls of Congress doing everything I can to deliver for folks who need relief.
Wall Street and Big Pharma should not have more influence in our democracy than working people. That’s another big reason why this fight is so urgent. We need to stand up and serve the interests of the people — not a few CEOs and billionaires. $3.5 trillion of investments in our people and our planet is a huge first step.
So, can you help fuel my work to win progressive change? We need 250 grassroots contributions before tomorrow night, so I’m counting on you to help us get it done.
I think you know this by now, but I don’t take a cent from corporate PACs. While so-called moderates and corporations try to stop our policies, I’m right there fighting with you and for you every step of the way.
In solidarity,
Pramila
