Victory in Texas

Last week we had a HUGE legislative win for Texas! Governor Greg Abbot signed SB1 into law and secured incredible election security reforms including in-person voter ID on absentee ballots, DMV citizenship verification on voter registration, voter list clean up to protect one man, one vote, and improved election process transparency and accountability.


Victory in North Carolina

North Carolina passed bill H805 Prevent Rioting and Civil Disorder on August 31st. This is an excellent bill that should be modeled in every state. It allows better policing
and stronger laws to discourage rioting and looting.

“State legislatures finally realized in many states that these holes and vulnerabilities that existed in the system for quite a while need to be fixed,” Hans von Spakovsky, a former member of the Federal Election Commission, told The Daily Signal.

“States like Texas, Georgia, Florida, and other places actually passed some good reforms to fix it,” von Spakovsky said.
