This fall is shaping up to be extremely busy — and consequential — in the U.S. Senate.

We must take action on a number of our key legislative priorities including passing the Build Back Better Budget through reconciliation and advancing critical legislation to protect voting rights and the legitimacy of our democratic process.

Our ability to make progress in a deeply divided Senate will be tested, and I hope we will have a vote to reform or eliminate the filibuster.
