Missouri Net News [link removed] Hero’s Journey Discussion Series
The Hero’s Journey is all around us: On the big screen, in stories past and present, and maybe even in our own personal narratives. In this four-part series, we’ll journey together with the hero from the ordinary world, into the special world and home again. Along the way we’ll explore life experiences – such as callings, thresholds, ordeals, rewards and return – and meet mentors, allies, tricksters and more. Following Christopher Vogler’s easy-to-read book the Writer’s Journey, the series will rely heavily on small group discussions. The Hero’s Journey: Pathways of Transformative Experience is part of the Thinking Theologically fall course schedule.
