Thank you so much for all of your support for Green campaigns. The passion
of the volunteers in Saanich-Gulf Islands always energizes me, and I know
that candidates across the country are benefitting from the dedication of
supporters like you.

With this final week of the campaign flying by, I am happy to see Green
candidates staying true to our shared values and goals, as we offer real
representation to our communities and real climate leadership in
Parliament.

I HOPE YOU’LL JOIN US NOW AND MAKE YOUR CONTRIBUTION. EVEN AS ELECTION
DAY COMES SPEEDING CLOSER AND CLOSER, YOUR FINANCIAL SUPPORT IS STILL
NEEDED FOR THE ESSENTIAL WORK OF A NATIONAL GREEN CAMPAIGN. [1]

, I HAVE BEEN APPALLED TO SEE HOW THE OTHER
PARTIES ARE VIRTUALLY IGNORING THE CLIMATE EMERGENCY. I do not know how it
could be any clearer that, while many issues are important, the threat to
our very survival must be the defining issue of this election.

Without aggressive action in the next few years, nothing done later can
save us from the devastating impacts of climate change. Saving ourselves
requires forethought, collaboration, and above all _commitment_ at a level
we have not yet witnessed.

Greens are laser focused on the most pressing issues of our time and ready
with positive policy solutions.

WHAT GIVES ME HOPE FOR THE ISSUES THAT REALLY MATTER – FROM CLIMATE, TO
RECONCILIATION WITH INDIGENOUS PEOPLES, SOCIAL JUSTICE, BETTER HEALTH CARE
AND AFFORDABLE HOUSING – IS THE CHANCE TO ELECT MORE GREENS TO
PARLIAMENT. [1]

Greens make an out-sized difference. AND I KNOW, AFTER 10 YEARS IN
PARLIAMENT, HOW DESPERATELY OUR VOICES ARE NEEDED. MPs from other parties
appreciate the decency and hard work we bring to the House. All MPs (or
almost all!) appreciate our civility, our integrity and our determination
to not let partisanship stand in the way of progress. And Canadians can see
our proven track record on pushing hard for positive change where it really
matters.

You have an important role to play. WILL YOU STAND UP NOW FOR THE ISSUES WE
ALL CARE ABOUT? WILL YOU MAKE THE DIFFERENCE IN HELPING TO ELECT MORE GREEN
MPS? The clock is ticking on this short election, and your financial
support is what powers our work from coast to coast to coast.

In this final week of the campaign we can keep climate action, social
justice, reconciliation and so much more in focus. We can do this together.
