What justice for Jan. 6 rioters should look like: U.S. Capitol police personnel take part in a training exercise at the Capitol on June 7 in D.C. Trump's allies are planning another rally in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, September 18. Photo: Matt McClain for The Washington Post John, You may have heard that the far right Capitol insurrectionists have planned yet another rally in Washington, D.C. for this Saturday. The rally is inappropriately titled “Justice for J6,” referring to the "victims" who have been arrested or prosecuted for their role in the insurrection. Justice for the rioters who vandalized the Capitol and assaulted the democratic process would be for every single person involved, and each of the criminals who stepped foot into the Capitol building, to see the inside of a jail cell. Justice would be to hold Trump and his allies accountable for their role in instigating the riot. And “Justice for Jan. 6” would be to thoroughly investigate why Rep. Lauren Boebert felt inclined to broadcast the movements of Speaker Nancy Pelosi in the midst of a violent attack that threatened lawmakers’ lives. The Colorado Turnout Project was formed for this very purpose: to ensure that insurrectionists like Lauren Boebert pay a political price for their treasonous actions. If you want to help fight for true justice for what happened on January 6, we need you on our side: If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: Express Donate: $5 Express Donate: $15 Express Donate: $25 Express Donate: $50 Or, donate another amount The real fight for justice for January 6 will require us all to never let up in our demand for truth and accountability. Otherwise, we would be allowing another insurrection—an outcome America can't afford. Thank you for being a part of this important fight with us. -CTP Team The Colorado Turnout Project [email protected] ‌ Paid for by the Colorado Turnout Project PAC [link removed] Not authorized by any candidate or candidate's committee.
