Stand with immigrants today.

Dear John ,
Today, Generation Progress is partnering with FWD.us and their I Am An Immigrant campaign for the fourth annual “I Stand With Immigrants” Day of Action! We are encouraging people—students, teachers, activists, and community leaders—across the nation to show their support for the immigrants that make up our communities and strengthen our country. Will you join us online today in saying “I Stand With Immigrants”?
This year, the campaign is asking people across the country to showcase support for immigrants with a special emphasis on those who are a part of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival program (DACA). This program has provided temporary relief from deportation as well as work authorization to over 800,000 undocumented young people in the U.S .

These young immigrants, also known as “Dreamers”, face an uncertain future as the Supreme Court of the United States is set to hear oral arguments November 12, 2019 on whether or not the Trump administration’s termination of DACA was legal. The DACA program works and we must fight to protect it and all undocumented people who depend on it. Looking for ideas on how to show your solidarity? We got you! [[link removed]]
